Săpun și parfum old spice/ Old spice soap and perfume

Do you remember the famous English soap Brown Windsor? Last year I searched a lot for a faithful recipe of this old soap, I looked everywhere I could think of for some ingredients that were hard to find (the caraway essential oil I managed to find in the end in my uncle's pantry - life is interesting like that:).

I must say that all my efforts were fully rewarded. The soap is absolutely interesting. Delicious, spicy, masculine, a bit obsessive. I called it "old spice". I know this is the name of a probably totally different scent, but it sooo describes the Brown Windsor.

More recently, somebody asked me if I can make a perfume with the same scent. I'm still experimenting with it, because spices are a bit difficult in perfumes, if not used properly. But I already handed him a sample that he was delighted with. I'm sure I'm close to the formula that will suit the most sensitive skin.

Anul trecut am cautat o groaza o reteta cat mai fidela a acestui sapun, am umblat o alta gramada de timp dupa ingredientele necesare (uleiul esential de chimen l-am cautat si in Bucuresti, ca pana la urma sa il gasesc la unchiul meu in camara - nimic nu e intamplator, nu-i asa?) 

Ei bine, toate eforturile au meritat, pentru ca intr-adevar, e o reteta superba, care nu merita sa se piarda. Rezulta un sapun cu un parfum delicios, picant, masculin, obsesiv. Eu l-am numit "Old Spice", pentru ca mie asta imi sugereaza: camara unei case vechi, cu miros de scortisoara si cuisoare, si inca ceva care ne da incredere si putere, care ne conecteaza la sursa noastra de vitalitate, acel sentiment ca suntem acasa oriunde ne-am afla. 

Recent am primit intrebarea daca pot face si un parfum solid cu acelasi miros. Inca fac teste, pentru ca notele picante pot deveni usor iritante daca nu sunt folosite in concentratiile corecte, dar o prima mostra pe care am dat-o deja in folosinta a fost aplicata cu succes si incantare. Nu poate decat sa ma bucure, pentru ca e asa de placut parfumul, ca l-as folosi si eu :)]

Jade powder soap remake / Săpun cu jad în forme noi

I decided it's time for a change in shape for this miracle soap, so that men too can benefit from it's properties. So now you can enjoy it also in the classic bar soap shape.

[M-am gandit sa fac sapunul cu jad si in forma clasica de calup, pentru ca am observat tot mai des ca si pielea barbatilor are de castigat de pe urma folosirii lui. Asadar, dragii mei, nu am renuntat la inimioare de tot, dar acum aveti si alternativa la ele:)]

Salt soap remake / Săpun cu sare

This is a remake of the much appreciated salt soap. It's double in size for we love it so much we want it to last forever :)

[Un remake al sapunului cu sare, atat de apreciat. E dublu ca marime fata de cel initial, pentru ca ne place asa de mult ca am vrea sa nu se termine niciodata :)]

Massage oil / Ulei de masaj

I think we don't realize yet how beneficial massage is for our body, no matter if it's self massage or if it's done by a person dear to us or by a specialist. It is a basic need of our body and psyche, to be touched, to feel that you exist, that somebody else ascertains your presence in this world.

It may sound pretentious but it's so true. For massage, you can choose one or a mix of vegetable and essential oils depending on your skin necessities and massage purpose (relaxation, circulation, anti-cellulite etc.)

It is important to know that applying a simple vegetable oil can bring huge benefits to your skin, as raw vegetable oils are a complex of mono and poli-unsaturated fats, anti-oxidants, vitamins and an entire army of other nourishing elements.

[Un mix de uleiuri vegetale speciale pentru masaj (ulei de susan, galbenele, migdale dulci sau oricare altul dupa preferinte si necesitatile pielii). 

Mixul aromatic este de asemenea obtinut dintr-un melanj de uleiuri esentiale asociate nevoilor pielii si scopului masajului (relaxare, circulator, anticelulitic etc.) 

Toate ingredientele sunt naturale. Uleiul natural, vegetal, spre deosebire de cel mineral, este absorbit de piele si ii furnizeaza acesteia un complex de fitosteroli, acizi grasi mono-nesaturati si poli-nesaturati, vitamine si alti compusi importanti pentru hranirea pielii in profunzime.]

Homemade antiage cream

My best friend came to visit, a very good reason to make her my favorite anti-age skin treatment, with a few adjustments to her preferences.

It contains apricot kernel oil, olive oil based emulsifier, Neroli flower water, purified water, hyaluronic acid, coenzyme Q10, jasmine essential oil and vitamin E. as a preservative I used Cosgard.

And here's the result - divine smell and feel... I hope you enjoy it my dear :)
