Multiplant bath bombs / Bombe de baie cu cocktail de plante

New bath bombs series flavoured with my new favourite mix - lavender and bay laurel, with sweet almond oil and dried crushed rose petals, marigold and lavender buds. Quite a treat:)

  1. Very pretty bath bombs, Iulia! Lavender and bay laurel sound wonderful together, and I love the flecks of marigold, rose, and lavender.

  3. So beautiful! I’ve never tried to make bath bombs, it looks so challenging to me, but I really like yours. They have original shape and I can imagine that beautiful smell. Additionally, you took perfect photos of them!

    1. Thanks Gordana, the recipe is super simple and the ingredients very accessible: you need 100 grams baking soda, 32 grams citric acid (the kind used for baking), 30 grams corn starch or any other food-grade starch (also found in the supermarket). Mix them well together, then add 20 grams vegetable oil (any kind) and again mix very well. When everything is mixed, the consistency is like that of wet sand, when you squize the composition in your hand it should stick together. If not wet enough to stick, add a puff or two of water using any spraying recipient and mix quickly. Add some drops of essential oil, about 15, and dried plants if you like, and press into the molds of choice. I usually use the eggs support from my refrigerator because its hard plastic and the shape is round and nice. They must sit in the mold for 24 hours. After that, just turn upside down and press on them gently. They are easy released. Let me know if it worked!

    1. Multumesc Geta, e o nebunie, intr-adevar, in plus lavanda e un veritabil calmant nervos, si cateva picaturi in apa de baie seara ajuta la somnic :P
